Texas Oak Bourbon - Barrel Proof

Straight Bourbon Whiskey
$ 70.00 USD

Texas Oak Bourbon is where American whiskey aging tradition meets the Texas-grown oak future and never looks back.

Texas Oak Bourbon is a bold, 8-year-old Straight Bourbon Whiskey that lives at barrel proof and wears its Texas roots proudly. The whiskey begins in traditional charred American white oak, then develops a second life in toasted Texas-grown white oak, where the local oak and dramatic climate work together to sculpt a richer, more expressive spirit.

Blender Notes

Texas Oak Bourbon was conceived as a showcase for oak, not as an afterthought to the whiskey. We started by identifying mature 8-year-old bourbon barrels that had already developed a strong sense of identity in charred American white oak—barrels with a solid core of sweetness, structure, and grain character. From there, we transferred the whiskey into toasted Texas-grown white oak casks to amplify what was already working and to add a distinctly local voice.

The Texas oak casks contribute elevated aromatics, extra spice, and a more textural finish, while the barrel proof bottling keeps the whiskey’s natural power intact. Our job in blending was to find the point where the traditional American oak profile and the Texas-grown oak influence complement rather than compete. The final blend holds that line: expressive but not chaotic, assertive without becoming harsh, and unmistakably shaped by the place it’s finished—under Texas skies, in Texas-grown wood.
