Kooper Family Rye is the product of long-term barrel tracking and a lot of notebook pages. We treat each component barrel as its own story, following how the rye's edges soften, how the caramel and vanilla sweetness builds, and how the oak and grain interact as time passes.

When a group of barrels starts to speak the same language, we test them together at multiple proofs, looking for the moment the blend feels "fixed" rather than forced —real bakery-spice sweetness carrying all the way through, not just sitting on top. The goal is a rye whose character comes from how the parts are assembled, not from any one dominant barrel.
