This bourbon began with a narrow selection of barrels that had already shown an unusual balance of maturity and energy in the barrel. Each barrel was tracked over multiple seasons, watching how Texas heat cycles were reshaping the structure in the glass and pulling honey and caramel sweetness up out of the wood.

When the barrels reached the right point, we built the final blend in small trial batches, adjusting proof and barrel ratios until the whiskey carried real weight and real sweetness without losing its line. The result is a bottling that reflects both patience and restraint — more editing than embellishing.
