Blender Notes

This bourbon began with a narrow selection of barrels that had already shown an unusual balance of maturity and energy in the rackhouse. Each barrel was tracked over multiple seasons to watch how the Texas heat cycles were reshaping the structure in the glass. When they reached the right point, we built the final blend in small trial batches, adjusting proof and barrel ratios until the whiskey carried weight without losing its line. The result is a bottling that reflects both patience and restraint—more editing than embellishing.
