At Koopers, we don’t chase hype barrels. We chase flavor.

What We Look For

When we sample barrels, we’re looking for:

• Balance
• Mouthfeel
• Depth
• Clean finish
• No harsh edges

If it doesn’t meet those standards, we pass.

We’d rather wait than compromise.

Some of the best blends we’ve ever made came from barrels no one else wanted—until we saw their potential.
